A new friend whispered this question to me with a smattering of shame, and a dash of guilt. But shy as she was, I knew she was bravely voicing a struggle many have wrestled with....
"If they want help, wouldn't they just find me?"
It's a logical question. But it doesn't give you any power to act. And it certainly doesn't help get your training into the hands of those who need you. Or put money in your bank account to honor your contribution.
